 So, respect that
and move on.

Thank you. :)
This website is relatively new (started around July 27th, 2008).  The looks of the whole thing still needs tinkering on, contents still need lots of work, and Tiger Lily is learning all kinds of things to do on here.  If you folks have any tips, complaint, or question, please don't hesitate to e-mail us at quadfused@gmail.com.

Thanks for checking out our site.

- Tiger Lily, Wounded Turtle, Gentle Dog, and Bear Claw.

This site is all about the poly world; polyamory, polygamy, etc..  Well, at least, it's mainly about our polyamorous group.  Here is a peek at our foray into the polyamory.  It starts with the four of us.  We are two committed/married couples who were friends for a long time and recently became sex partners.  We fell in love with each other.

We have no pre-defined set of rules in polyamory.  We set our own boundaries.  We took an example from another polyamorous group; 1] Go at the pace of the slowest.
A few other rules are this:
2] As far as our sexual comfort zone goes, permission from separate couples are necessary.  One of us cannot be left out.
3] Any activities, such as dates, can't really be spontaneous.  It has to be scheduled, as most of us in the group have very busy lives.
4] No secrets.
5] And naturally, as in any relationship model, we are intent on honesty, openness, and good communication skills.  We talk through jealousies, anger, etc.

For the sake of our safety and privacy, we've identified each other by nicknames.  See if you can keep up!

Wounded Turtle and Gentle Dog are the married couple.  They are very much in love and, in their own words, much like newlyweds.  They have been together for over 10 years and have kids together.  Wounded Turtle is the wife; she identifies with earth tones and turtles.  She gets hurt easily and we tend to be very protective of her.  She doesn't identify as bisexual, but she is emotionally and sexually invested in the other female in our quad - Tiger Lily.  Gentle Dog is the husband.  He is Irish, heavy metal lover, and a pyromaniac.  He identifies with dogs the best and he loves to be petted, adored, and cuddled.  He is always willing to please and usually easily entertained.  He is 'the Simple Man' of our group.

The other couple are younger; Bear Claw and Tiger Lily.  They have been together for 5 years and lived with each other for 4 years.  Bear Claw is the mysterious boyfriend; stoic, patient, sweet, and tough in build.  He has the dark looks that appeals to women.  His nickname is a testament to his build and temperament.  Tiger Lily is the open girlfriend.  Her attitude, personality, and aura resonates with the bright colors of the tiger lilies.  She is straightforward, strong, fierce, and creative.  She is the social butterfly; the delicate flower that can be easily crushed by structure.   She tends to be the leader in the group.

We're not currently cohabitating.

I hope you look forward to stories, insights, and personal train of thoughts from each one of us as this gets added to.

A final note from Wounded Turtle:
For all you perverts out there, this is not a sexually based relationship.  We genuinely love each other.

The Poly Flag

Blue represents openness and honesty among all the partners.
Red represents love and passion.
Black represents solidarity with those who must hide their relationships from the outside world and society in general due to pressure of monogamous ideals.
The greek lowercase letter 'pi' is the first letter of Polyamory. [I first thought it was because mathematically, pi represents the ever-constant numbers which is never finite which is how I view love].
The gold in the letter/symbol represents the value that we place on the emotional attachment to others, be the relationship friendly or romantic in nature, as opposed to merely primarily physical relationships.

Here's a fantastic site for the polyamorous!
Granted, I have the link on the link page, but I felt this one should be put out here! =)
